We are excited to inform you that the Bar Association of India will be hosting the 35th POLA Summit in New Delhi from August 27th to 29th, 2025. Following the Summit, the New Delhi International Rule of Law Convention will take place on August 30th and 31st, 2025.

 

The inaugural convention in 2023 brought together leaders from the global legal community, including representatives from IBA, UIA, ABA, IPBA, LAWASIA, WJP, and national organizations from various countries. It focused on the theme of establishing a global governance order rooted in humanism, rule of law principles, and robust legal and justice systems.

 

Post-convention, the Bar Association of India invites international delegates to a cultural excursion to Agra/Jaipur on September 1st, 2025. This excursion will offer participants a chance to explore India’s heritage and foster deeper connections.

 

Please note that while the Bar Association of India will cover costs for airport transfers, receptions, meals, and the excursion, delegates are responsible for their travel and accommodation expenses in New Delhi.

 

We encourage you to mark these dates and join us for this important gathering, which offers a platform to influence global legal frameworks with a focus on the global south. Further details, including the agenda and registration information, will be shared in the coming months.
